Competition flow will be as follows:

  • ~ Registration will open soon for our August 9-11, 2024 event.

~ Long Jump = regular distance jumping.

~ Hang Time = bumper hanging over pool, moved out in 1' increments. Dog jumps and detaches toy, similar to Fetch - It.

~ Speed Jump = speed swim, dog timed from release to crossing finish line.

~ High Jump = vertical jumping, dog detaches bumper moved up in 2” increments.

~ There will be practice after check in, and between jumps as time allows.

~ Each Long Jump and Speed Jump heat has 2 judged jumps back to back. Your best jump will determine the score for that round.

~ High Jump and Hang time will be run in a round robin format. All dogs coming in at their start height will rotate at each new height until they’re out.

~ Your competition jumps will all be judged manually. Please make sure the judge is ready when you do your competition jumps.

~ Your dog must have a jump number in order to be eligible for rankings, placements, and championship invites. The jump number is FREE! You can get your number here.

~ There will be Standard, Mini/Micro, and Gold/Diamond classes recorded for championship invites and rankings purposes. Regular divisions are for dogs over 17", dogs 14-17” at the shoulders will be considered Mini, and dogs under 14” will be considered Micro. Diamond dogs (10 and older at the start of the season) will also be scored as Diamond for invites and rankings, and Gold dogs (8-9y at the start of the season) will be scored as Gold for rankings and invites. The dogs will be jumped together, but will be scored within their own division for championship and ranking purposes. Please notify us at checkin if your dog falls into any of these categories.

~ Finals will be divisional finals only, no specialty classes.

~ You must have a minimum of 2 heats of long jump to qualify for finals and a championship invite.

~ Games are all in one finals.

~ Registration entries into each Jump # are $23. That includes 2 competition jumps. Your best competition jump will place you in the finals bubble.

~ Finals will be run at the end for event placement.

    ~ Pre-registration closes 8/7

~ Updates will be posted in the facebook event

~ Please let us know if you'd like to volunteer to help! Possible tasks: helping with run order (we’ll have a dry erase board), keeping the flow moving (getting dogs ready when they're the next dog to go), wrangler for toys if a dog doesn’t jump or helping to call dogs to the ramp if they get confused, help with judging, etc.

  • Please refer to the Competitor Handbook for information on division seeding for finals. Let us know if you have questions!

  • ~ If you have not been here, this pool is located at our home. Our family lives here, please treat the property as your own. Clean up after yourselves, respect our animals and our belongings, and let someone know right away if you see a problem.

~ We do have a porta potty onsite.

~ There is livestock onsite, including goats, rabbits, barn cat, horses, and chickens/guinea. Everything will be locked up, except the chickens. The chickens are 100% free range, but they tend to stay away from the pool and the dogs.

~ For parking, not much here is sacred. Feel free to pull your vehicles anywhere in the grass or dirt in the front of the house, down the drive, etc. Our grass is not cherished, this is a farm. You may pull anywhere on the grass, except between the house and garden/pool, as that’s where our septic and well are and they cannot support the weight of vehicles. In the beginning of the season, make sure you’re pulling onto solid ground - it sometimes gets muddy out in the field!

Please fill out the liability waiver if this is your first time coming to our dock in 2024.
