Flyball Class
Flyball Level 1 classes are an introduction to the sport of flyball.
What is flyball? It’s a fast paced relay race for dogs! For a full description of the sport, check out the U-FLI website here.
The Level 1 is a beginner class that will discuss the fundamentals of the sport, work on the retrieval and recall, drive building/channeling, and introduce equipment.
Candidates for this class should have toy drive! Toy drive can be built, but if it's not already flowing from your dog's ears...you might consider taking our drive building class, How To Play With Your Dog!
This is a 4 week class, and structured for multiple levels. Meaning once you complete the Level 1 beginner class, you can move on to Level 2, and so on. There’s a lot that goes into this sport!
Flyball Level 2 is an intermediate class, learning more specifics with the sport.
Level 2 will work on transitioning over and backs to a wall board, introducing other dogs working in the building at the same time, snap offs, beginner box work, and putting pieces of the course together.
Candidates for this class should have completed Level 1, or have equivalent training previously.
We currently do on have any classes scheduled.
This class is open to dogs of all ages, fully vaccinated, and free of disease. Please bring your dog on a 4’ non-retractable leash, with high value soft treats, and his favorite tug toy. Wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be running too!
